A nonprofit with a clear mission to advance gender parity in corporate leadership.

Who is the client?

Paradigm for Parity (P4P) is a nonprofit organization focused on achieving gender parity within the senior leadership ranks of major corporations worldwide. Their coalition consists of over 140 companies committed to reaching this goal by 2030.

What did they need help with?

We supported P4P on a retainer in a variety of ways. We provided communications strategy, copywriting and design support across a range of platforms (including social), and marketing support for upcoming events.

Some of the initial brand goals for P4P were to:

  • Deepen engagement with existing coalition members
  • Establish presence as thought leader in the DE&I space
  • Amplify social media engagement
  • Maintain and elevate brand alignment across channels

What was my role?

  • Managed a team of writers, videographers, graphic designers, strategists, and copywriters
  • Developed a retainer project workflow to establish a rhythm that allowed for the influx of new requests and the review of those in progress without going over our budgeted hours.
  • Drove the creation and successful delivery of event marketing plans with a 5-6 month timeline.
  • Oversaw the execution of several LinkedIn Lives including, technical setup, and post-production editing
  • Guided client through a comprehensive member portal software evaluation process, including needs analysis, vendor research, demo facilitation, and final recommendation.

How did it turn out?

Since working with Paradigm for Parity, we have seen massive increases in social media engagement, with LinkedIn reactions increasing by over 64% over the course of 6 months. As a client with a small internal team, we’ve also helped streamline their communications efforts with branded Canva templates which has made asset creation a much lighter lift. We were also able to successfully transfer their member portal to a software that was better suited to their needs, allowing them to stay engaged with their members without having to navigate through clunky UX/UI.

KeY Takeaways

What I learned along the journey:

Always stay positive! After two failed LinkedIn Lives due to technical issues, I took it upon myself to inject some positivity and creative problem solving to come up with a solution that resulted in a LinkedIn Live win!

More templates please! Using templates for everything from project agendas to social graphics has been an amazing time saving hack.

Don't be afraid to update your toolbox! Recognizing the limitations of our initial tool, I proposed switching to Asana. This has significantly enhanced our workflow and task tracking.
